I saw the post about NBC Olympic coverage and have to comment on how much better Eurosports coverage is. There are no main hosts or command center...coverage moves from event to event with expert commentators at each venue. The commentators are never seen (and I mean never...I have no idea what any of the commentators look like), only heard, and there are no athlete interviews (before or after events), no cornball features or athlete profiles, and no medal ceremonies. If an athlete has an interesting story the commentators provide background information over the course of the event coverage. Overall it is a fantastic viewing experience...comprehensive, expert and straighforward coverage. I flipped to the BBC a few times and it is a similar format to NBC...main hosts that talk forever and commentators that have more face time than the athletes...absolute crap.

How can we get Eurosports streaming over the internet?

NBC's Olympic coverage has disappointed me greatly. They jump around from event to event, showing very little live coverage, and only a few non-American contestants in each event. Then there's the time-consuming and useless medal ceremonies and interviews.

Eurosports never jumps around and it shows almost all events in their entirety...equal time for all countries no matter how big or small. And the commentators are great and strictly facilitate the action. I have no idea how you would get it in the States, or if it is even possible via the internet or cable.

Does NBC own either the Oxygen or Lifetime networks? If not they need to buy one and air their dramas and stories there and put sports on elsewhere.
