I love Charli. Last year, during one of the post-game meetings that the team holds with fans, I got a chance to ask her a question. Admittedly, the question was a type that resulted in an somewhat awkward, blunt answer from Charli. I was a bit surprised. However, after the Q&A session was finished, she made a beeline to me to seek me out, shake my hand and thank us for coming to the game. I think she may have felt bad about the way she answered the question and wanted to make sure I wasn't put off by her response. She looked me in the eye and smiled while she was talking to me. That was VERY mature of her.
By the way, she has VERY long fingers and they are very, very cold.
I’ve read multiple times that Charli tries to model her game after Candace Parker. Candace can be a bit ‘extra’ for some, especially opponents, but I’ve always liked her. Based on some of the techs she had called on her in high school, I’d say Charli has a bit of Candace’s demeanor on the court as well which doesn’t bother me at all.
Dynamic Duos: The NCAA website made a list of the Top 9 player pairs in WBB this season, Joyner and Charli were on it:

Collier and Holmes rank in the top 10 for most double-doubles this season as the pair has recorded eight. The Longhorns were on notice this past weekend after beating No. 1 Stanford, and come in at No. 25 on the latest AP poll. Collier, who is only a sophomore, led the Longhorns with a game-high 20 points and a game-high and career-high 19 rebounds in 37 minutes of play. The senior Holmes leads Texas is scoring, averaging 15 a game. After Collier, Holmes leads the team on the boards as well with 108 this season.
