Finding Her Way Back Home
Great story about EDD that explains what made her leave UConn and end up at Delaware and the importance of her family. Been watching all the NCAA games Delaware has played this NCAAs when possible. EDD is a lot better than I had thought before this season and I had thought that she was very good. The Blue Hens play Saturday, 03/30/13, at noon EST vs Kentucky for a chance to face either UConn or Maryland in the Elite Eight. Now a game vs UConn will certainly draw a lot of media attention.

EDD = Kevin Durant

Brittney Griner = Greg Oden

While Griner will be the #1 overall pick in the draft (just like Oden was), it is EDD who will win Rookie of the Year honors. She will be the tougher matchup for defeneses in the WNBA, and is so much more than just a scorer (passing, floor leadership, etc.).

Griner will be matching up against posts her own size (maybe not as tall, but more girth). She will be great defensively, but she won't be the scoring machine EDD will be, IMO.
