ESPN's top 150 recruits: Texas w/ six in top 20

We have 15 of the top 150. 10% of the top 150 players to one school. Another 15 to Florida.

2 teams get 20% of the top 150.

Bama 10.

USC 8

Fla St 7

UGA 8

Strange that media raised the old question about dynasty regards Alabama after their championship....

However, Florida got 4 of these Top 10 alone (4 total in the Top 20), while Texas got 2 in the top 10, and 6 in the Top 20.... but Alabama got just one of these Top 20 recruits -- #16, DeMarcus Milliner.

Interesting that it was Florida, Texas, Florida, Texas... for the Top 4.

Texas has lost one game in each of the past two seasons, both losses with unusual story lines in how the losses came about. Two seasons under Will's defensive schemes and coaching. Two pretty good results. There certainly is enough talent coming in and still on board, to be coached up to do as good or better.

Would it be worth an effort to retool the offense and pattern it after a pro-style offense in alignment, blocking schemes, and overall playbook -- and use Payton Manning and the Colt offense as the blue print?

Nebraska has one player in the top 150--#147 Andrew Rodriguez. That's not much bounce from getting to the Big 12 Championship game.

Oh, but maybe it was. There are no other commits to the Big 12 North in the ESPN top 150.

Wow.
