Texas appears to be withing the top 30 at least(as of this post):

The Big 12 so far:

T-57. Iowa State
T-90. Texas Tech T-124. Kansas State
T-141. Nebraska
174. Texas A&M
219. Colorado
T-266. Baylor

ESPN ranking system definitely puts a premium on consistency over exceptional seasons as witnessed by Florida's place on the list. Penders only had 1 losing season that I can remember and then Barnes hasn't had any.

Heck... maybe we are even a top 15 program. I'm not looking at their ranking system... but name 10 programs that have had better results over the last 8 years. That has to count for something.

I have made and will continue to make the argument that this is a top-five program since the arrival of TJ Ford.

The pieces were in place by then (Boddicker, Thomas, Mouton, Ivey), but TJ pushed them to a higher level that Barnes has been able to maintain.

Gibson, Aldridge, Durant and Augustin have come after, along with PJ Tucker. I wouldn't tie it to the names, because my argument is results-driven, but you have to have players, and those guys were the players.

Somebody over at the Four Letter Network did not get the memo that aggy is now a basketball school.

OU's #12 with 221 points, but when I compiled the points myself, I had OU at only 193. I have no idea what I missed.

Why in the Pros for each team do they list #1 seeds? It's not a part of the scroing criteria.
