My Ten ESPN Thoughts...

1) Regular season: The Worldwide Leader in NEVER seeing a full basketball game

2) Jay Bilas: Should have ran with his law degree. The dude just likes to whine and try to prove people wrong. Sometimes it looks like he's about to cry because the other guys on the set disagree with him.

3) Digger Phelps: It's a good thing his tie and highligher match, otherwise ESPN would figure out that he has absolutely no real insight

4) Stacey Dales/Erin Andrews: Can we please have more of these ladies on the sidelines? If you have to interrupt the game, please do so with them!

5) Doris Burke: Please keep her only on non-HD ESPN; on HD she appears to be 20 years older

6) Conference Tournaments 1: Why do we have these intros and timeouts with guys rapping or singing opera? Are watching a basketball game?

7) Conference Tournaments 2: You gotta love ESPN's long-term bias for the Big East conference. Not only do you get way too many Big East games during the regular season, but nearly every game during the post-season tournament is on national television!

8) Bob Knight: The only reason I'm even watching College Gameday today

9) Dick Vitale: Will he just retire? He's the most worthless color-analyst of all time! I can't wait to see him cry tomorrow after some teams don't get into the dance. If Dick had it his way, 120 teams would make the field for the tournament.

10) Although CBS has way too many commercials (even during 30-second timeouts), I'm definitely happy that ESPN doesn't have their claws on the Men's basketball tournament.
 
I'm just glad that I got to see the end of the UK/UGA game (instead of our Texas game)...I've been waiting to watch that game all day.

11) Bonus coverage of other games while ours is in progress. We were thoroughly entertained by the three consecutive time-outs in the UK/UGA game. Honestly, split-screen technology is available. Will ESPN ever understand when to use it?
 
I'll get ripped for this, but College Gamenight with Tom Brennan & our boy Doug Gottlieb is as solid as it gets.

Bobbby Knight is a great addition for ESPN.

Erin Andrews is alright, but Stacey Dales.......really?
 
I saw Stacey Dales at the Austin airport after a TX game...for whoever she doesn't do it for on-air..she's smokin' in person!

Erin Andrews is worthless. I don't really have a preference between her and Stacey Dales, appearance-wise. But she knows zilch about sports. At least Dales has a basketball background and knows what she's talking about most of the time. That, by default, makes her more attractive than someone like Andrews, who can't even remember the teams she's covering half the time. She once referred to Arkansas as the Arizona Razorbacks. I mean, come on.

I get that she's fun to look at or whatever, but give me a sideline reporter who knows her stuff and just get some more shots of the dance team and cheerleaders to fill the hot chick quota.
 
If I hear one more compliment about ******* amazing Tyler "PCP good for me" Hansbrough, I'm going to slit my wrists...vertically. Even as I sit here talking, Bilas and Knight are on SportsCenter sucking his dick.
