ESPN article on rule bending

But as the article states, it's not cheating. It's not even bending the rules because there are no rules about it. It's just plain unethical.

It kind of makes me hope that some of these kids fail. I want to see their AAU coaches' and/or parents' faces when they realize they were bought off for no reason.

I work in a school district with a lot of athletes who are college material. Parents don't give a crap when coaches come knocking... it's just part of the recruiting game. But they (kids included) freak out when the AAU guys watch practice. Dollar signs in the eyes.
