I was looking at ESPiN.com and the poll question is which #1 will be the first one out of the tournament. It did not surprise me that Memphis was the overwhelming leader. What did surprise me was that they are even the leader in Tennessee.

Is this a nationwide vote of confidence in the Horns, stanford or michigan state? Or maybe just that the team that everyone was saying would have an undefeated season just a couple of weeks ago is now seen as fundamentally flawed.

I think it's mostly reflective of the fact that Kansas and UCLA don't have to play anyone to reach the Final Four.

I think that is mostly because about 90% of the people are fans of Tennessee and for some reason they hate Memphis.
