Entertaining clients in San Antonio

OK, in March I will be at a trade show and need to "wine and dine" a few "high-end" clients. I need to do something close to the convention center as most of my clients will be there and won't want to drive etc.....

I may have as many as 15-20 people attend. I need about 2 hours. I don't want to do a full-course meal, but maybe a situation where there are very good finger foods and drinks where everyone can mingle.

Any thoughts?

Maybe check with the Menger Hotel, see if they can set up a small room with drinks and appetizers?

It's a little over a half-mile from the convention center.

It is historic, and next to the Alamo, so out-of-towners would probably get a kick out of that.

I'll second Biga on the Banks. This is by far the favorite for all our clients that come into town. Food is great and a beautiful setting as well.

I've worked with Biga many times on entertaining groups of 20-30 people and every time is has been great. They have also been flexible to all my groups' needs each time.

Bohanan's has a room that you can get that is semi private and the food really is some of the best in town.

I do think Biga is good too.

I will second Zinc's. They have a wonderful selection of high end wines, and it has a hip, classy atmosphere.
Good Luck.
You have to let us know what you decide.

OK, I ended up doing this at the Hotel Contessa. I can't say enough about how incredible the staff was. I also stayed here and the rooms are literally all suites with a separate living area. Very nice and only two years old.

Thanks for all the thought!
