Fox Soccer showcases two important pre-World Cup™ matches for the England National Team: against Mexico live from London’s Wembley Stadium on Monday, May 24, at 3 p.m. ET as well as the Three Lions’ final tune-up vs. Japan on Sunday, May 30, live at 12 p.m.
A must see for USA fans. I have not seen anything for Algeria or Slovenia but at the level the USA is now there is no way
the USA should fail to make the second round.

The US should advance, but I would not be so quick to discount the other group mates so easily.

The US has historically sucked against Eastern European teams. Slovenia is very solid defensively, which is something the US always seems to have trouble with. They also match up very well size wise; their main striker is a 6-4 giant. The Slovenians also knocked out Poland, The Czechs, and Russia from the cup. Cupcakes they are not.

Algeria has a talented group as well. One that is good enough to beat the Ivory Coast. They are also a Muslim nation, and they will be very motivated to play the US. I would not want to have to play this game as a must win for the US if at all possible.

The England back line looked slow today. Vela and Gio took advatage of it on several occasions. Damn Mexico lack of goal making and good play by the keeper stopped 3 goals. The good news is that Altidore and Landon should be able to take advatage in the same way. Hope they make their wide open chances.

Don't read too much into the Mexico game as a guide for the England v USA game. That's not going to be the starting XI.
King, Baines, Milner and Walcott will most likely be backups not starters. Carrick shouldn't even make the squad.
