When he left Findlay for Mountain State, everyone assumed he would go to WVU. Here's a report that WVU has no interest anymore, Kanter has now returned to Turkey and is unlikely to ever play college ball in the U.S.

What were the details of the Balbay situation? Why could Kanter not just sit out the first 10 or so games as a penalty and move on?
