Endocrine disruptors in our environment

Like the ethanol lobby, just another example of lobbying misplacing the interest of the common good. I don't know enough about this topic to comment on the validity of the claims but I bet it's an up hill battle to get anything done about it.

I'm sure whichever candidate we elect for president based on their treatment of dogs, wife's wardrobe, or some damning anecdote out of the past will have the mandate to address this issue.

Romney is going to have a field day with the poor economy coupled with the democrat attack on business. Big pharma, Big chem, Finance and Banking, Healthcare, Big auto, Fast food, Oil and Gas, Coal, Mining, Walmart.... I guess all that is left is the computer industry. How do you expect to have an economy when we are told that all industries are bad and government acts accordingly?

Look I have no doubt that companies are making profit off of making people sick. Geez just take the soft drink industry for one. I'm sure that this OP made some very good points about the dangers of certain chemicals in our society. I have a receipt in my pocket from Cafe Express which I'm afraid might diminish the benefit of an otherwise healthy meal, so that bothers me, yes. My point was simply that making a reference to quotes from "BigChem", that is not really a quote, is really just a lazy addition to this article. I would have respected the information quite a bit more had they left that out. With that in there, I just have to figure it is another liberal hit piece with an agenda against an industry that brings a number of beneficial things to our society.
