Saw a lot of positive reviews saying this was fairly relaxing and addictive. Since it was only $30 I picked it up and am going to try it tonight. Anyone else played it yet?

Ha! Caught up with a whale, grabbed on and rode along with him!

This is really an interesting game. Definitely not your typical fare- there's no heart pounding action. You can't attack the fish, and you can't incite the sharks to go after you (I did try dropping chum in the water next to a hammerhead even though I knew nothing would happen).

It's really laid back- you swim around, you look at stuff. That's really the gist of it- you unlock information by interacting with the fish, and there are items to find underwater and other little tasks to do. But there's no pressure to get anything done and no time limit. It's the most laidback game I've ever seen- if you just wanna cruise around you're free to do so for hours.

Seeing a whale for the first time was pretty neat. Watching the penguins dive was fun. And all the different rays too. Also, the underwater graphics are really well done. On the boat, not so much. The music has kind of an Enya feel (which suckered my wife into watching me play). But it looks like you can drop in an SD card with your own music to listen to.

This isn't going to be something I'm going to pull out at a party, but after a long day at work I can see myself firing this up.

If you like petting fish, this is the game for you.

I hear it's a mellow, alternative experience. Don't go in expecting the deepest thing in the world. But if you want a different experience, I've heard generally positive things.

It would probably be cool in an altered state.

I'm pretty sure I'll be picking this up. My wife can become easily frustrated w/ games that require a lot of strategy & technique. She simply wants to play something that's fun & entertaining & this looks like a cool, relaxing experience.
