Emotions for 2008-2009

Still smarting from the Aggie loss, here is a chronological reflection on my emotions of this season:

Anticipation, optimism, uncertainty, anxiety, excitement, enthusiasm, euphoria, uncertainty, frustration, depression.

The Athletic Department should send out a few complimentary Zolofts with each season ticket.

Let's see your season emotional path.

I'm afraid it will take us quite some time to get out of the depression stage.

Prediction: Texas will no longer be in the top 25 on the February 9, 2009 polls.

No, this team absolutely does not belong anywhere near the top 25 and they will be damed lucky to make the NCAAs. They may even be damned lucky to win another conference game!!!!!

Can we enter the girls state basketball playoffs instead? Just not class 5A, please.

My emotional path: cautiously hopeful, pleasantly surprised yet still cautious, disappointed, deflated, defeated
 
Next year GG will have a team made up of most of
her recruits. The chemistry should be great. Lindsey 's scoring is way below last years.Earnie never was much of a scorer.She has a redshirt year ,but I think she is gone.
Aubrey goes with them. Carla and Erika have a redshirt year
that I hope they take.Both are GG type competitors who have worked thru serious injuries.Carla is a very fine point guard
who will work beautifully with the incoming freshmen and
the ones ,Kelsey and Tayler, we hope will join us. At this point in time they may be no where near making that decision.
Oh yes,Erika will get her shot back!!

#4 IN ALL THE LAND! I think we're rate too high but heck we'll take it. 40 minutes of ball ya'll and we'll stay amongs the elite.

Oops we had a hiccup. That's alright that's OK we're going to beat them anyway!

together Horns! The season has just started.

It's a WIN! I thought you were turning back into Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde.

Dr. Jekyl could you go and get Mr. Hyde. I need you both to play 40 minutes of basketball.

What just happened? And where is the defense?

We're spinning out of control!!?!!?

Somebody...anybody...H..E...L...P, we're spiraling downwards...is someone going to step up and help the team!?!?!?!?!
 
Carla turned the ball over six times against the aggies. Some of her passes were among the worst I have seen by a UT team. This late in the season we should be seeing better passing.

Can somebody, anybody on this team score.....PLEASE?
