The kid is great.

Having spent my share of time in Lubbock, it's hard to understand a kid who would voluntarily go to spend four years of his life there, esp. after living in Austin.

I talked to his dad on Halloween and I knew we were not gonna get him. His dad said we offered him a gray shirt and that Emory was a little upset about it. I really wish we would have gotten him. Reminds me of Quan Cosby

I think would the coach would tell them that we just don't have the room (due to scholarship limits) to take them rather than tell them they are not good enough. That is a big difference.

Well yea, obviously that's the way the conversation goes, but I'm sure both parties know exactly what the situation is.

Unless it's one of those things where Mack tells 4 recruits at a position that he will take the first 2 to commit, then that's a different story. But if one of them is a can't miss prospect, I'm sure Mack would save a spot.
