What's with chicks not wearing hose any more? Take shotgun427's sig, for example. Fine looking example of the female form, but jeebus, put on some stockings! Seems like all the starlets in the photos on the search engine home pages go bare legged these days. Honey, you're a peach, but use the technology available and smooth out those gams.

Now, there was a time, a couple of decades back, when chicks wore hose with shorts...and that was just wrong. But their ain't nothing wrong with supporting the Haynes Company.

You know I love ya, but until you've walked a mile in those instruments of torture, don't judge us.

Pantyhose are extremely uncomfortable for a great many women, plus they are hot.

Even women with perfect bodies find wearing pantyhose to be an uncomfortable experience.

Now, the vast majority of us have the common sense to wear hose if we've an important to-do, like a formal occasion or a job interview. But I do not put hose on my body once the temperature rises above 50 degrees.

Right back at ya', Texanne. I can use the love, since I seem to have stepped in it here. Indeed, I picked my first major based upon the fact that I refused to wear a suit and tie. That was not necessarily the best criterion for picking a major, but it was a factor at the time.

Stockings, I use this term to avoid the redundant use of "nylons", or "hose", seem to my male mind, simply a part of the cosmetic process used by the ladies. No need to trowel on the make up for every occasion, but the photos to which I refer are of females in use of every conceivable form of cosmetic, including rather dangerous surgical procedures. Yet, they are not wearing hose. They are obviously at highly photographed events, for the purpose of being photographed, and therefore, it would seem, the use of every aid would be appropriate.

Now, if you'll excuse me I think I see some youngsters playing on my lawn...we can't have that.
