Elizabeth Edwards' passing

She passed away today after a 6yr fight with cancer. Yesterday I read that doctors gave her maybe a couple months, but more like weeks to live.

What would be your thoughts if she went to her doctor this morning after talking to and seeing her kids and family for the last time, and basically asked for a lethal shot?

From my corner, I'd be for her absolute right to do this, but was curious as to what y'all think.

I would have no problem at all with it. Having watched my mother die of cancer, I am 100 percent in favor of someone being able to peacefully end his or her life when there is no hope.

I am glad for Elizabeth that her pain is now over. There is no sadness or pain in Heaven.
