Just curious . . . I see these articles about elite teams, scouting at tournaments, etc, and I am wondering how much it costs an athlete
to be a part of this stuff? In a calendar year, what would the team fees, travel, gear, etc. cost a top 100 player's family? How many
seasons are there in a year for a team? Any clue about what a
coach at this level makes? I realize there is probably a range of
teams from "affordable" to quite pricey . . . and I am sure there are
arrangements made for some players to participate, just wondering what the average is for a very good player.
