Electrician and/or General Handyman request

So, I've recently finished adding to the deck in my backyard. Since we've got all this new useable area, I'd like to install lights back there. There is currently only one little light, and from what I can tell, the power is run through the brick on the outside. I'd like to add lights in the same style, but I don't really want wire running along the outside of my house. Thus, I'm looking for suggestions on how best to accomplish adding three lights outside, all running on the same switch.

thoughts?

Not sure I understand the question.

Are you asking how to conceal the wire, ie conduit?

Alternates like direct-burial romex?

er, yeah, I guess that's a little unclear. I wanna know how to install lights outside

. The exterior of my house is brick, and the one light that's there now has the wires coming through the brick. I had thought of just splicing into those wires and running it along the outside of the house - how do I run the ground wire, how do I properly seal any fixtures I do put up, and how would I hide the wires if I did that?

That said, this problem has to have come up for other people, and I was looking for solutions that I hadn't considered yet.

Thanks!

What's the gauge of the wire coming throught the brick? That will determine how many lights you can install.

You can seal the penetrations with silicone or elastomeric caulk.
