Saw Eddie Vedder play in Milwaukee last night on his current solo tour. The wife and I don't get out as much but we both took the day off and headed over to Milwaukee. We had a blast! I was anxious to see him play in a 2K theatre/intimate performance but:

Mercy, were there a few knuckleheads in the audience. It got a bit silly at times, Vedder commented on it a few times. Other audience members telling people to shut the f%*k up. One guy was dragged out by secruity screaming the entire way. Though:

Vedder played 2.5 hours of his Into the Wild, PJ, and covers. Besides the few obnoxious fans, I had a great time.

Setlist:

MAIN SET:Sometimes, Trouble, Girl From The North Country, I Am Mine, Deadman, Man Of The Hour, Setting Forth, No Ceiling, Guaranteed, Far Behind, Small Town, Millworker, Soon Forget, Broken-Hearted, GONE!!, Rise, Driftin', Hide Your Love Away, PORCH

1ST ENCORE: Here's To The State, Blackbird, Forever Young, Won't Back Down, Wishlist, Society w/Liam, Throw Your Arms Around Me, No More, ARC

2ND ENCORE:Hard Sun w/Liam and EJ

People who scream between songs. I love you, man! Go Cubbies! How's Oliva (his daughter). This wasn't a standard plugged in show. He told stories in between songs and it was annoying when EV was talking and someone would yell out, Pearl Jam rocks!!!

On top of that, people in turn were yelling back at these people. I found it a bit akward and there was an uneasy feel to the show. I guess I'm going a bit overboard, but that's my long winded obnoxious fan rant.........

Are we clear?
