Eddie Kilroy fired from 'Willie's Place' on XM

Thanks XM/Sirius. Fired because XM/Sirius couldn't afford them. They only had the highest rated channel, with the exception of the fox news channel.

I believe Eddie is originally from Liberty, TX. Does anyone recall what station he was on in Houston? I'm too young to remember.

I believe he's from the Liberty, near Baytown. The info on the web just mentions Eddie's show was the #1 listened to music program on XM/Sirius. He was fired due to his high salary.

Someone had told me he was a DJ in houston for many years in 70's prior to the FM days. Assuming this was AM, I'm guessing this was 610, but I dont know who played country music on AM 30+ years ago.
