HELP!

I got stuck at work to make Spaghetti for a pot luck for about 10 or 12 people. I'm a good cook, for myself, but not for a group. Easy suggestions WELCOMED with the thought that it will have to be nuked in a microwave oven to heat it up.

As already stated it is a pot luck with other entree dishes so maybe five or so full servings is all I need.

1 box of spaghetti noodles in box follow instructions

brown 2lbs of ground beef

pour 2 jars of spaghetti sauce in a jar on top.

Call Pizza Hut and get one of those Pasta trays things they have to go. If it is not good eat an someone else's entree.

ptown nailed it... Prego has the best sauce in a jar, IMO, unless you find some fancy brand but those are kind of hit or miss for me. You could add some mushrooms or something if you wanted to spruce it up.

I was hoping for a good/easy sauce recipe but none put through. I guess I'll just to the generic thing.

wedgie,
If you want an easy sauce that is made from scratch I will give you mine, but I never really measure anything.

I start with a lb of ground beef, turkey, or buffalo. Then I add fresh romas, whole canned tomatoes, tomato sauce, zucchinni, finely cut carrots towards the end. I also add a beer for the cooking process.... I season it with an entire blend of Italian spices. I also add mushrooms. I am trying to think what else I put in it.. Mine is almost a kitchen sink type sauce. Anyway, I think that is what I put in though.

if you are using jarred sauce and ground beef, which is fine, make sure and brown the beef with some onions and italian seasonings/garlic first. makes a HUGE difference. no need to add a bunch of bland, unseasoned beef to the dish when it is so easy to make it better.
