ate dinner last night with the wife. I can honestly say that was the best overall meal I have had in a long time. Everything was good.

Started with the Chips and Salsa which is now my favorite in Austin (well, favorite of the non-spicy variety). I've seen it at Central Market but never bought it before. That will change. Not overpowering, sweet, fresh.

Had a cup of the pumpkin and shitake mushroom soup. Glorious.

Wife had the verde chicken enchiladas. Best she's had in Austin.

I had the sirloin meatloaf with some tomato sauce on top, garlic mash potatoes. I've had great meatloaf before but this was mouth watering good. I know they grow their own organic vegetables and ingredients and it's evident.

Service was excellent and non-obtrusive. Atmosphere was quaint, moderately romantic and comfortable (sat in back Garden Room)

dinner, 2 glasses of wine, apps and tip for $54.

If you haven't eaten there then GO.

We've eaten there twice in the last month or so and it was great both times. They've done a lot to expand their wine list, seems like.

I love the place. It is my mom's favorite restarunt, so just about everytime she's in town we go there. I've had most of the menu. Next time you go, get the jalepeño pecan cornbread stuffing. Your tastebuds will thank me later.

I love being close to it so I can walk for brunch on a weekend and not have to worry about parking. Great place.

I got a gift certificate for there one time. That and for music are the best ones to get. But they are busy enough, let this thread die. I don't want to wait in line.
