Early December-3-day weekend ideas

Wanna take the Mrs. someplace like Jackson Hole, one of the nice Colorado resorts, etc. for a 3-day weekend in December. Skiing would be secondary, but wouldn't mind hitting a run a couple of times. Good spa, good cuisine and scenery are priority.

Steamboat Springs is nice. The Steamboat Grand has a nice spa overlooking the mountain, and the food onsite is pretty good (full disclosure: BIL is the exec chef). If you go into town, there are other shopping and eating options.

The only drawback is that it's a little harder to get to than Breckinridge/Vail. Probably about a 2 hour drive from Denver.
