Earl Campbell Smoked Sausage

I'm not much of a cook, but having to fend for myself in college I grew quite the affinity for Earl Campbell Smoked Sausage. Now that I'm back in Atlanta I have no idea where I can get my hands on some. I've been going through some serious withdrawl for Earl Campbell's sausages. Does anyone know where I can order some or find some?

i too was wanting some sausage a few years ago, and I called that number. It was going to be $80 to send me three links. I got over that craving. Maybe the prices are cheaper now?

it might be a little less expensive but still not rationally priced. I was going to send some to a buddy but the problem is having to ship it in dry ice and overnight it. stuff gets expensive real quick.

Cheap flight to austin, trip to store from airport, buy sausage, buy ice chest(s), load icechest with sausage & dry ice, let di make sausaged supercold, remove di, check as baggage, no more than 50lb per ice chest, put a bag strap around it, fly home, retrieve ice chest, enjoy.


It's what I did last time I went to Austin.

i just got a bunch of lobster and other awesome stuff from maine shipped overnight and it was total $30 shipping. it seems like it would be possible to do if you could find someone in austin to help you out for a similar price ...

Place an ad in the Atlanta or Austin CraigsList asking someone to bring some Earl's with you from Austin.

Pay a small handling fee... if you thoroughly freeze up some snausage, then wrap it in tin foil & newspaper, then check it as baggage, it should be OK by the time you get it to HotLanta.
