Eagles Thinking

I have been reading and listening to sports talk all day and one thing I noticed is the Eagles seem to think they are a better team and dont seem to worry about Dallas beating them. One sports guy said Mcnab is a better Qb than Romo and the Eagles running game is better but the Wr's are the teams are dead even, what a joke.
Dallas 40
Beagles 14

I do and have noticed as you have the Eagles cant stop the Boys offense. The only team that can beat Dallas is themselves with turnovers.

can't believe Romo's scramble pass to Holla downfield was right on his fingertips. Neither's fault that DB knocked it away.

Great game, alright. However.... that national anthem was one of the worst. (Didn't think it needed its own thread.)

Romo's postgame interview: "What were you thinking when you fumbled in the endzone to give the Eagles a touchdown?" "Darn it. I suck."

Does Witten look too heavy now?

I have a new respect for this Eagles team. They played hard and gave Dallas a fight. Even though Dallas spotted the Eagles 7 points, these two teams are the elite of the NFC. Dallas is still the better team and seem to have more room for improvement as that wasn't as good as they can be defensively. We will have to see how the Eagles handle playing about as good as they can and still came up short on Dallas. This will show their character on how they respond.

McNabb really played good. I didn't realize he still had his wheels and elusiveness, but he was moving around great and throwing real well. I'm sure he was handicapped by not having his two top receivers in the game.

Yea but McNabb is the Jim Kelly of the NFC. He just can't seem to get it done when it matters the most. He had 2 min & 1 TO left and needed 51 yrs for the win. But for some reason, he looked indecisive and didn't trust his arm (which looks great btw). Running around holding the ball too long and taking sacks in crunch time will not win a championship.

McNabb's refusal to run hampered the Eagles also.

There were plenty of times he was scrambling around on a 1st or 2nd down, broke containment and was running along the LOS instead of just taking off and gaining even just a few yards. His biggest advantage over guys like Brady, Manning, Manning, etc is his ability to make plays with his feet and for some reason he has decided his feet and play-making ability are worthless.

I know, I know he's been beat up the last few years but still he has the ability to make plays and pick up first downs with his feet.
