For those that like the frozen variety, this is trully a quality margarita with no hastle.

1) Empty one frozen can of Bacardi Chiller Maragarita flavor into blender
2) Fill empty can halfway with cheap silver tequila (I use Juarez), add to blender (I can't believe they expected me to use RUM of all things - sheesh)
3) Fill empty can 1/4 way with triple sec equivalent (I use the Patron orange liquer - es preety cheap)
4) Fill with cubed ice all the way to top
5) Blend until sound changes, indicating ice is fully blended
6) Pour into glass
7) Enjoy

Variations include more of #2 and #3!!

Or just do the frozen limeade that costs like 30 cents instead of the Bacardi stuff and save some money.

Just don't do like I did last time and accidentally get the "large" can of frozen limeade, and then use the bigger can to measure the liquor. We went through a bottle of tequila in less than 3 batches, and no one drove home that night.

Use to use that stuff, but it doesn't have the same flavor as the Bacardi. Not a bad and certainly cheaper alternative, but a little too lime-y for me. That said, in this market, lime-y is looking pretty good.

I use the limeade but prefer a better tequila, like at least Jose Cuervo classic. But more importantly a good orange liquer like Citronge.

I love good tequila, but drink it neat, just like a good single-malt Scotch.

For margaritas, I prefer the bite of the less refined tequilas. I still want 100% blue agave, but I stay away from premium tequilas because they're too smooth to cut through all of the lime.

That's just my opinion and philosophy, of course. Your mileage may vary.
