DVR help

my wife is addicted to the DVR four things at once thing that only AT& T provides. What do these guys have naked pictures of the TWC and Verizon people or what?

I used to care about dish vs. cable, cable is better, now I don't care. I'm being gouged by AT & T, it's going to over $100 a month for just internet and cable.

anybody with a solution?

Dish? DirecTV?

Well, I have Comcast and I know the On-Demand feature removes the need to record a lot of things. Any mainstream channel or half-way popular show will be on-demand, but you do have to wait probably like 24 hours before they appear after they have aired.
