DVD-R Less Than $100

What kind of specs should I be looking for in a DVD-R or DVD-RW these days for < $100? Any recommendations?

they are all dual layer now, i think, but the dvd-9 media is about $10 each. for about $65 you can expect a burner that does all formats and burns dvd's at up to 16x. i don't know of any media that burns at that speed though. check out videohelp.com and look for ratings/reviews. i know that a couple months ago the nec-3520 was top rated there. i got one from newegg and burned dozens of disks without any problems.
