DVD players

I just got a new TV (50inch DLP) so its time to upgrade my DVD player. I have been using my PS2 as a player.

What do i need to look for when i get one?

Look for one with progressive scan output.

Goddammit. Progressive scan output!!!! I told those guys at ultimate electronics that I wanted the most pimped out DVD player made and they said progressive scan w/ component outputs were the best.

Um...progressive scan works via the component outputs.

hornbri - you'll want a player with a DVI output if your TV has DVI or HDMI capabilities.
