DVD Player Suggestions

I need a new DVD player that will play backed-up DVD-Rs or +Rs. The ones I’ve created play fine on the PC DVD player, but not on my old Apex POS. It seems all have positive and negative comments in the research I’ve done?

I like my Sony DVP-NS575P. 75 dollars at best buy and plays all my burned discs flawlessly.
