DVD Player Question

I have a 5 disc Kenwood DVD player, we moved a couple of months ago. Prior to the move the DVD player worked, however since the move every disc gets the same message, "Can't read disc" anyone have any ideas of what may be wrong or how to fix?

Sounds like the laser assembly got jarred out of alignment during the move. Repair is likely the same or more than replacement.

thanks, I was figuring I probably was going to need to replace as fixing would cost as much as replacing
