Seriously, is Durant degrading OKC? As much as I love to see Bennett and his "Sonics" suck I'm not sure if that would be a wise move for Durant. Then again, I'd love to see what he actually said.

Kevin's $30 million is about equal to (Thunder partial owner) Aubrey McClendon's remaining stake in Chesapeake Energy after last week's margin calls. Seriously.

He had to unload 31.5 million shares of Chesapeake to cover the margin calls, leaving him with 2 million shares worth about $37 million (as of yesterday). (On July 2nd of this year, when the stock was $74/share, his 33.5 million shares were worth $2.479 billion.) I think McClendon's stake in the Thunder is worth more than his remaining stake in Chesapeake, the company he co-founded.

As a Horns fan living near Seattle, go Kevin, and I'm loving me some Sonics karma...
