Durant lighting up the rookie game

He just scored 9 points in about a minute. He has 35 with about 10 minutes left. He's absolutely carrying the sophomores.

This has got to be one of the worst All-Star snubs ever. He's a top 10 NBA player right now.

This should be back to back MVP's for the longhorns in the Rookie sophomore game. Hopefully, Augustin will keep the streak going next year. It is crazy that he wasn't included in the game this year.

durant was phenomenal tonight. those 2 3's he made to go from 26 to 32 points went through so softly it was amazing. and between his length and long arms he almost gets up as high as lebron (without all the power of course) on his dunks. i really can't believe how quickly he's gotten this good. i thought it would at least take another year before he got the FG% and the rebounding going like this. and people forget how young he really is. even with a year of college, he was only 2 months older than lebron when he entered the league. and he's younger than some of the rookies this year.

and while he should be in the game, 2 things really held him back and don't make it a surprise he didn't get picked. the thunder starting 3-29 pretty much took him out of any chance due to no spotlight, and the fact he has improved so much as the season went along and his early stats weren't spectacular also hurt. he would've needed to be putting up these 30 point games all year instead of averaging 22 ppg the first month to get people to really notice him. but damn is he just improving by leaps and bounds every month.

I've heard talking heads discuss the all star game snubs without even mentioning KD. I'm telling you there are some clueless people in that industry.

Forgot to set my DVR to go extra, but I think it's repeating at 2:00 am on ESPN.... hope so, I want to see the last few mintues I missed, plus the awards.

Way to go KD.
