Dumb Q re ball size

What are the relative sizes or other differences between high school, college and pro footballs?

I thought college balls could be different sizes. That's why you see a guy wearing an away team hat on the home team sideline holding a couple of balls. Of course, I could just be making that up.

Balls are same size. They switch the balls to keep them wiped off for the qb and rbs. I do believe the kickers use specific balls that they kick to soften up but they are inflated to regulation 12.5 - 13.5 psi.

I meant that each team's QBs may prefer a different size from than the the other team's QBs. How well a ball fits in the hand of the QB can have a lot to do with how the ball is thrown.

According to the rules from the NCAA, balls can vary in size. They must be 10 7/8" to 10 7/16"
by 27 3/4" to 28 1/2"
by 20 3/4" to 21 1/4".

They must also be inflated to a psi between 12.5 to 13.5, and weigh 14 to 15 ounces.

Where would you like your latex shipped to?

As on 10 years ago,in the state of Texas at least, the shape of the football in high school would vary drastically. Teams that ran more of a run/option offense would tend to use rounder footballs, and teams that threw it more would use longer, thinner footballs. The dimensions would end up being close to each other but would feel very different.

Kickers also liked softer, rounder footballs.

So, the link above, citing the manufacturer, seems to say that NCAA and NFL balls are the same. Not sure I got confidence in whether Texas HS balls are the same.

I think the link above is actually stating that all Wilson manufactured footballs are the same size. I don't think every NCAA team uses a Wilson football. Does Texas use Wilson brand?

NFL balls are all the same size and made by Wilson. Every team uses the same ball. In college teams can use the brand they are affiliated with as long as it meets the specifications in the previous post. As an example Texas uses a Nike 3005 Large Girth ball. Notre Dame's balls are Wilson Collegiate TD. They are nominally the same size. Some other school might also use Rawlings if it meets the specs. In college when the ball changes hands, like after a punt, the offense sends in their own ball.
High school balls are also nominally the same size although the makes and variability in size is greater.
