A mother lets her 10 year old son and her 19 year old friend ride on the hood of her car which led to the kid sliding off and suffering severe head trauma. WTF??

We used to ride around on the front of my dad's or uncle's truck (depending on who drove us out there) for fun when we were out at my grandparent's farm.

Both trucks were mid-50's F-100 size (1/2 ton). Sometimes we'd ride on the front a car if we took that instead of or in addition to one of the trucks.

Surprised we're still alive...

Of course, where we rode was a dirt or gravel road (or field) and we weren't going that fast...

Of course, it was the late 60's/early 70's, and the car we rode on could have seated 10 comfortably on it's hood...
