Dumb Outlook Express question

I own my own domain name (my lastname) but when I recently started using Outlook Express, the "From: " line on my outgoing e-mails lists my ISP address ([email protected]) instead of [email protected].

How do I tell Outlook Express that I want my domain name e-mail address instead of my ISP e-mail address.

Thanks and sorry if I asked a dumb question in a dumb way.

You mean people see you as the wrong email address? But the mail client is still pulling from/sending from the correct account?

Just go to tools-accounts-preferences, and you can change any of your identity info.

Thanks, goofy. I'm such an idoit.

But having solved this problem, my wife thinks I'm a complete genius.

Just tell her you had to reprogram Outlook at the code level to fix it. And throw in random computer jargon, like mainframe, gigabyte, and math coprocessor. And quote Charles Babbage.

Acronyms! Acronyms are the key to looking smart.

"Well, I had to adjust the settings on the OPD. Of course, now our ISP recognizes the current GSB."

If she asks about any of the acronymns, laugh like you think she's got to be joking.

"What's OPD?"
"Ha, ha, ha. Good one, darling."

Then walk away quickly.
