Alexis Jones 5-9 PG Irving MacArthur HS Irving TX is transferring from Duke. She has her release & has 2 years left on her clock.


We do have one scholarship open at the moment . . .

Seems like I read somewhere that she had torn an ACL. Anyone have a clue why she's transferring?

A source close to the rising junior said that she’s looking at Baylor, Texas, LSU and South Carolina, where she also has close family.

Hopefully playing against Ariel and Tasia will help her having some familiar faces on the team. Not being too far from home shouldnt hurt either. Her and Ariel on the wing would be true program changers and it would give Higgs the opportunity to come in and grow under two of the best combo guards the game has to offer

Horns have room for her and she would be awesome to get but unlike when she came out of HS, the need to land her is not as great.

Welp, just like that Baylor saved themselves from what appeared would be a few years of "average" results. Jones and Prince will be as dynamic a back court duo as there is in the game provided that they can round into form prior to injuries.
