Dublin Hotels

I've been to Dublin on some of the busiest weekends of the high season and haven't had trouble like I'm having now. Trying to get a room for 3 people on Friday 11/2, and 2 people on 11/3 and 11/4.

Typically, I would just grab a hostel at this point, but I'm going to be with two girls and all the hostels I would trust are already booked.

Any good hints on where to look? Ideally it would be South of the Liffey and closer to the City Centre the better. Don't mind spending more than a 10-bed hostel, but would like to keep it under $200/night.

Any help is appreciated.

Evil Beaver & I stayed in the Temple Bar hotel on Temple Bar street... I'd stay there again... especially if you want to be able to walk to tons of bars, restaurants, etc. I've heard The Clarence is nice too.

I thought this was for Dublin, TX and I was going to remind you to get an original Dr. Pepper w/ sugar cane instead of corn starch...

Jury's in Ballsbridge closed but they are re-opening as a bed and breakfast, I think the rooms are going for €99/night - checkThe Link 15 minute walk to city centre, €6 taxi ride, or the DART is 3 minutes walk from the hotel.

Bewley's hotel is further up the road in Ballsbridge and usually costs €99/night as well.

If you want something central, there are a lot of hotels but I don't know if you will get them for under €140 ($200)/night. Try the Westbury (doesn't get any more central than that), Clarence hotel, Shelbourne (Marriott property but probably out of your price range). Also all of the O'Callaghan hotels are very centralThe Link

There are a couple hotels on Harcourt St. you can try as well, like the Harcourt Hotel and the Russell court Hotel.

Also you can consider the Jury's hotel near Christ Church which should be in your range and is very central. The Link

Good luck.
