Dual Boot?

I bought a new computer for my son that comes with Vista. He has a lot of old games that I don't think are compatible with Vista. I have copies of Windows 2000 or I guess I could buy XP if necessary. What would you recommend I do to allow him to play his older games? If dual booting is the recommendation, how do I set it up?

ditch vista and go with XP...vista sucks balls anyway...

Ive done this to about 8 computers now...ive got it down to a system...haha...
