DT Andrew Billings Announcement Next Week

Per report on 1300 this AM, DT Andrew Billings of Waco will decide on college next week during their bye week. Only Baylor and Texas were mentioned with Texas having made a great impression last weekend when Billings attended the UT-New Mexico game.

I find it difficult to understand how Texas could possibly have made a great impression after reading all the negative posts on this site about the NM game. Has he discussed playing time with MB?

yup - have seen and heard nada concerning his commitment. can't rely on anything these days - especially media reports.

maybe he wanted to see Baylor play ULM. maybe his bye week is not over until Monday. maybe the report was wrong. maybe he hasn't made up his mind. maybe I heard it wrong on the radio - unlikely but extremely remotely possible - .

FWIW, after surveying some of the pay sites, it sounds like Billings has put off his announcement to continue visits. According to one of the sites, Billings' dad wants to make sure that his son takes his time and evaluates each school to see what they have to offer.
