DSL

[Cancer Man]

I'm getting a little fed up with EarthLink's DSL. I have a few connection issues with them and they've AWFUL customer service (way too many foreigners with little grasp of English whose idea of troubleshooting is working through laminated "situation" cards that don't fit anybody that isn't trying to set up service).

My question is who is everybody using and are they happy with them? Or, is my experience with EarthLink about par for the DSL course?

I've only had one DSL ever, and it was USOnline. It was my only option as that was all that was offered in my apartment complex.

Comcast just recently bought out the account for our complex and switched us all over to Comcast Cable Internet last week.

It is sooooo much better than that crappy DSL.

I'm using SBC, haven't had any problems, router and wireless card work fine, xbox live works fine, i'm satisfied for 27 a month

We use cable at home and the provider is cox. they have great service, but it's 40/month for 1024/128 cable :/

SBC is about the same, foriegners that have no concept of what you're talking about when you try to get help. I think it's just par for the course.

have had SBC for ~7 months. had roadrunner before then. no problems; good deal; fast connection.

will say though never get a dlink router. i had a thread on here about it and i returned mine and got a linksys wireless router and fixed all my problems.

Look atThe Link they have several dsl options under $30.00 a month. Compare and see what is best for you.

I always thought that to get a DSL a collagen implant was necessary.

Then again, I'm stuck in a 3:16 frame of mind at the moment.
