Dryer not producing heat?

This is the second rental dryer I've had that has stopped producing heat to dry clothes. Any ideas what may be causing this or how to fix it? If the lent gets backed in the wall vent, would that do it or is it more of a mechanical heater device gone bad?

I had the same problem and it was due to having lent blocking the exhaust.

Somewhere in there is a thermal sensor that may burn out if the temp gets too high, due to the vent being blocked or any other reason. Pretty damn expensive part for mine, as I recall.

Just pray the rosary, and it will not only start working on March 24th, your shirts will come out of there with an image of the virgin on them.
