With no legal framework to govern their use, 70 countries now have drone technology, China unveiled 25 new drones (some able to be outfitted with missiles etc..), and there are almost 700 active drone development programs around the world, as opposed to less than 200 six years ago:

the helicopters would take 'em out and my tin foil hat would deflect their drone radar. I know this to be true as I read it on the tubes of the world wide inter googles.

I've always worried about the vulnerability of aircraft carriers. They were getting sunk 70 years ago and technology has gotten better with drones, cruise missiles, stealth subs, tactical nukes and the like. And the defense has also gotten better with the phalanx system and other weapons.

I can see us getting into a naval war with China over Taiwan sometime in the next 50 years.
