Places within walking distance of 3rd and Congress??? I know Hickory Street has them. Not the greatest. Others?

Kevin's Cookies (Frost Bank Bldg) are make your own, as are the Omni's. Not great. Hickory Street's are better.

I used to work in the Omni. The tacos are hit an miss. Sometimes they're solid, other times they are so full of grease they are inedible. They also recently started to put cheese in every single taco.

Thanks. Hickory's actually not too bad, and they're big enough for Paul Bunyon so getting your money's worth is never an issue.

Las Manitas serves breakfast tacos? Didn't know it was open that early. Done deal.

Las Manitas is pretty good as is Gueros on South Congress however that may be quite a hike.

go to the Hideout next to Wendys on Congress. They are better than everything around them.

Had Hideout's this morning. They come in from Taco Deli on Barton Skwy. Good stuff, plus they also provide that Dona sauce, a blend of japs and something else that is heavenly.

Sparks in the Secretary of State building at 1019 Brazos are my favorite. They are greasy and cheesy - thats why I think they are the best.

Depends. If you're there for grease or comfort food, then Hickory Street is only average. If you're looking for rabbit food to blow out yoru bowels, the greens and fixings are damn fresh.
