Downtown Parking in Houston

looking for a spot around 1000 Louisiana. There seems to be an Ampco spot around there... anyone know if they rent spots on a monthy basis and how much something like that costs?

I used to work in that building. The underground garage there is very small and very expensive. There are a couple parking garages that have contracts with building tenants and the building provides a shuttle to those garages. The closest of the two is the garage that is attached to the Hyatt Regency, which offers decent montly rates and is accessible to the tunnel so you can take the tunnel to the building.

Some of the surface area parking lots offer monthly rates as well in that area. I think they run around $70.00 a month. However, I imagine it would suck in the summertime.

I'd go with the Clay garage as someone mentioned. I used to work over there and park in that garage. It is a pretty good one IMO.

For tunnel access Clay St garage is the way to go. Cost is around $100/month. If you want CHEAP parking try apex parking on Fannin. Its a bit of a walk butfor $60/month it is cheap. Spend the extra $40 and never worry about rain, humidity, heat, and that is suckage about Houston in the summer

probably check on rates at the allen center and met club garages, too. I'm not sure what they cost but they would viable options.
