Years ago, wow, probably 25 years ago, I used to enjoy Lone Star because it had a "doughy", or "yeasty" finish. It was almost like biting into a good dinner roll. I think they advertised their "special yeast" at the time. I have heard that Lone Star has had several changes of hand and formula since that time, but I picked up a sixer just to see. Bleh! What a generic beer it is now.
Anyhow, is there a beer that is heavy on the yeasty/doughy taste?
