'Doughy' beer

Years ago, wow, probably 25 years ago, I used to enjoy Lone Star because it had a "doughy", or "yeasty" finish. It was almost like biting into a good dinner roll. I think they advertised their "special yeast" at the time. I have heard that Lone Star has had several changes of hand and formula since that time, but I picked up a sixer just to see. Bleh! What a generic beer it is now.

Anyhow, is there a beer that is heavy on the yeasty/doughy taste?

I find the Fat tire has a "grainy" taste, if that is the same as "doughy". You will normally find yeasty flavors in wheat based beers (hefeweizens and such).
