WTF is it with this place?

I continue to hear Aggies rave about it and I consider this to be a mediocre at best, available at every strip mall in every town, pizza version of Long John Silver's.

Is this actually good food somewhere else?

What is going on?

It is not that bad.

I wouldn't say it is even in my top 10 pizza places, but it is somewhere I go every now and then for the Peproni rolls and pitchers of beer.

their pizza sauce is kinda... sweet. I don't really like it. the lunch buffet is always a good deal though.

The sauce does have a sweet taste to it--it's especially pronounced when you are using it to dip the peproni rolls in. I love those chicken alfredo rolls that they put out on the lunch buffet--they're allsome!

Worst dogshit, stripmall pizza is Gatti's.

f ragging on Double Daves ... DD's ios greatness, especially in Austin given the number of ****** pizza places.

My one complaint is an inconsistency among their different locations, and its purely which group of slackers are running the place. The DD's in Oak Hill used to be solid, then their 2-3 main hippees quit and it went in the crapper. Now, the DD's at Wm. Cannon and Brodie is the best I've found - fairly new, great TV and always has fresh pizza, Peproni Rolls and cheeseteak stromboli ... greatness.

I like the peperoni rolls (with ranch), cheesesteak, and BBQ chicken. I also like the salad. I don't go out of my way to eat there though.

Dave's rolls aint got **** on Pizza Classics. PC puts as much pepporoni in one roll as Dave puts in a whole order.

The pizza crust is bland and too thin.

Now the stromboli, that's a whole other deal....

Peproni rolls at some of the places dont have enough cheese in them. The ones i had after the 2001 a&m game were the bomb
