All of this attention on D.Scott is taking away from the real news -- Mack is about to bring in a group of athletes who are excited about going to Texas and winning. We've got a great class coming in and we're all here pouting about some kid in Cali. who was a LONG shot even after Charles left.

I'm not a sunshine pumper..but I'd be pissed if I was a kid who was about to sign today and nobody gave a **** because someone else didn't.

We are bringing in a class that should address a lot of issues over the next two years, and we're setting ourselves up for a monster 09' class. So you know what, I'm not losing any sleep over it.

Wtih all of the coaching changes and Mack's apparent new attitude...I'm pumped.

Bevo's right on...some people had this as a down year for UT recruiting, but this class way exceeds that. It will fill some big needs, not to mention that we have a couple of very good running backs who ARE coming in with this class. I want us to sign the players who WANT to be at UT.

This is so true. The media and too many of the Texas fans always focus on the recruits that Texas didn't get as opposed to the ones that they did.

Good job Bevo5 for getting this recruiting season back in proper perspective. We have hauled in some serious hosses and again, plucked the prime candidates we needed from within the State of Texas. Another very impressive job by Mack & Co.

Couple all of this will the addition of Muschamp & Applewhite and Texas again appears poised for many a great accomplishments. It's a good day to be a Longhorn -

Couldn't agree more. This is a solid class that will make a big impact for this team, make no mistake. There is especially some sick talent at WR / DB I can't wait to see on the field. When you look at that and the guys lining up for the deep '09 class, there is absolutely no reason for concern about our long term depth. May need to shore up a couple positions but the staff knows what they are doing. Don't think all the '09 RB guys aren't watching the DS situaion unfold...
