Donilon Resigns; Rice In As Nat. Sec. Advisor

Susan Rice, former ambassador to the U.N, who looked the American people in the eye and lied her *** off on six national news shows one Sunday morning about Benghazi, is now the Prez's national security advisor. No senate confirmation is required.

I guess BO owed her at least that much for prolonging the myth that "al queda was defeated" and helping him get reelected. Just an old fashioned Chicago style political payback.

I see "Lied her *** off" more as giving the information she had been given. She was briefed on the administration talking points and spoke what she knew. She was never in the catbird's seat? it's not like she's Nixon, in one press conference making up lies to explain the lies he knowingly told in the previous press conference.

I don't really have a big problem with this. Rice just spewed the ******** she was fed. How's that her fault?

She was either lying or just incompetent. I'd almost prefer to think that she knew and was lying to cover BO's ***. This Fox article nails it.

I think it is just a little foolish to suggest that Rice didn't know the truth behind the attacks. She knew what she was doing, and she knew what the future reward was going to be. She chose to remain loyal to POTUS instead of her oath to the American people, and that is the difference as far as I am concerned. She chose him, over the country. She was the paid liar of the day.

I'll be glad when at last it is proven that the closet terrorist Obama called up his Muslim buddies from the place other that the USA where he was born and orchestrated the entire Benghazi attack.

How satisfying it will be to see all of the unsubstantiated assumptions of the righteous proven correct!

If she didn't know she was lying with all the real time info the WH had, then she is totally incompetent and shouldn't be a dog catcher. And if she actually believed what she sad, she is totally incompetent to be NSA.

OK: So when Ronald Reagan traded Arms for Hostages, illegally, then told the American People that he didn't was he lying or was he incompetent? Was he lying or incompetent when he allowed proceeds from arms sales to Iran, which had just kept hundreds of Americans as hostages, and illegaly diverted the illegal procees nto the hands of right wing revolutionaries in Central America? Or was he a good president/ politician with good strategic vision who sometimes slipped up on the details of a perfect foreign policy? I think that when you weigh on balance the costs and the accomplishments, the Reagan administration was good but imperfect. I frankly think he made mistakes on a larger and more intentional than we are seeing with Benghazi.

My feeling is that this Presidential Administration was too green at the outset and too slow to learn, foreign policy is a tough arena and no matter who is in power there will be mistakes and embarrassments. If Churchill, Roosevelt, McArthur, Halsey and LBJ were judged and fired for mistakes made in difficult circumstances, we'd live in a different and poorer world.

Ok, Mich, I'll play your little game. Was Condi et al wrong about the WMD's? All - ALL - intelligence from the US, England, and others said they had them. That is a bit different from most of the top administration people knowing that Bengazi was a terrorist attack and trying to cover it up because of the upcoming election.

But, hey - I'll give you extra credit for blaming her instead of Bush. You're branching out!

Funny thing, 80% of Americans agreed with the supporting of the Contra's.

I don't know anybody that supported not supporting the attacked embassy in Benghazi.

And what percentage of the American people agreed with selling arms to the country that held our people captive for over a year?

Answer that, and then cite me where you found 80% of Americans supported our handling of the Contra's....first before and then after how we were funding them went public.
